How It Works
Call or Book Online
Tell us what your air conditioner is doing. We ask a few quick questions, schedule a visit, and a technician arrives with the common parts for your type of system.
Diagnosis & Upfront Quote
The technician tests the system, finds the actual fault, and explains it in plain language. You get a clear quote for the repair before any work starts.
The Repair
Once you approve the quote, the repair is done on the spot whenever parts allow. If a part has to be ordered, you get a firm timeline before we leave.
Verify & Maintenance Advice
We run the system through a full cooling cycle to confirm the fix, then walk you through simple maintenance habits that help you avoid the next breakdown.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you repair ductless mini-split heat pumps?
Yes. We service both conventional ducted heat pumps and ductless mini-splits, which have become common in Niagara homes. Mini-split faults often involve drainage, sensor, or communication errors between the indoor head and outdoor unit, all of which are diagnosable and repairable.
Why is my heat pump blowing warm air in cooling mode?
Common causes include a reversing valve fault, low refrigerant from a leak, a clogged filter or coil, or a thermostat configuration issue. Because the reversing valve is unique to heat pumps, it takes a technician familiar with them to tell these apart quickly.
My heat pump keeps icing up. Is that normal?
Light frost on the outdoor coil can be normal in some conditions, and the unit should clear it during a defrost cycle. Thick ice that never clears, or icing during summer cooling, points to a real fault such as low refrigerant, a failed defrost control, or restricted airflow, and is worth a service visit.
Are heat pump repairs more expensive than AC repairs?
Many repairs cost the same because the systems share most components: capacitors, contactors, fan motors, and coils. Heat-pump-specific parts like the reversing valve or defrost board can cost more, and as always you get the price upfront before deciding.
